About Paul Zindel

The author of The Pigman and many more is Paul Zindel. He has written a total of 53 books. He has won 2 awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Margaret Edwards Award. Zindel's first book was The Pigman in 1968. He later wrote other series like "The Zone Unknown" and "Hawke Mysteries". He later than died by cancer in 2003. Zindel had lung cancer.

Zindel was influenced to write a young adult novel from a editor. The editor saw his first piece "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds" and thought it would be a good idea for him to try to write a book. I think if he wasn't influenced by the editor than he still would of made books, here's my reasoning. I think he still would of made books because I think he understood how well his play went that it would be a good idea for him to start writing books. I think that his style would of also stayed the same. His play was in the style of his books.
