Five Chapters In : Henry Scamurra

In hour three, over the weekend we had the small goal of 29 pages to chapter five. As some went over board on the book I decided to write the blog according to what was meant to be read. As far as I am concerned at this point in the book, the main character is a girl with jerk parents and some friends who to me seem like just bad influences. I mean her parents called her out and talked to her about how she wasn't good looking or skinny. Her friends on the other hand were smoking and drinking under age. I am still in a blur on when this book took place but I assume somewhere about 1950.

As we see she prank calls people to see how long they could keep them on the phone. This seems like childish humor and it looks like they won't be going to collage (if you catch what i'm saying). I honestly don't really like the main character after analyzing what I said earlier. She just seems like an unimportant teen delinquent prankster. I don't know after learning these things how much I will like the story but like I said previously, never judge a book by it's cover.

They seem to have a knack for pranks with phone calls and rolling apples they seem very... annoying to anyone who is on the other side of the prank. I like that they have a sense of humor but I don't like that they are portrayed so annoyingly. The bathroom bombs were funny but again seemed slightly annoying. Maybe later there will be more reasons for such behavioral habits.
