(Gurtej S.)The Pigman: Lorraine

"Two sophomores, John and Lorraine, play prank calls on random people from a phone book where they see who can keep the person talking longest.  Lorraine called someone named Angelo Pignati.  When she, called, she noticed something strange about him, how he was dire to talk to someone. Her call lasted for hours.  Most people usually would catch their prank, but Mr. Pignati actually believed what she was doing, so ended up actually trying to give her money."  That is all that was learned from all the way up to chapter five.  Seeing, that most people have no idea who either John or Lorraine are, I'll give some information about Lorraine
Lorraine Jensen is a 16 year old sophomore that goes to Franklin High.  When she moved their, she didn't have any friends.  She would always sit by herself on the bus, and would never talk to anyone.  One day, when the bus was full, John Conlan sat next to her.  He started to annoy Lorraine by laughing hysterically on the bus.  She started to laugh too, then some how, became friends.  To me she gives the impression of a really nice and expressive girl, who is too shy to show it.

  1. I like how you describe each character. You are really specific and use evidence. Good Job.

  2. (Lauren's comment) You described the character really well. You used evidence and good details to show what Lorraine is like. I would just add what she actually is like instead of just giving the beginning of the story and what happened.

  3. I like how discriptive you are with all of your words. You do a good job at telling us about Lorraines personality. You should tell more about the pigman.

  4. I really liked how you gave us some backstory about the characters and why they are like that. The only thing that I don't understand is that last sentence "...Who is too shy to show it" That was the only thing I didn't get, otherwise great job!

  5. I like how you described everything. The backstory was good and that shows that you read the book. Over all this is a great blog post.
