The Pigman: Conflict so far

   In The Pigman, the current conflict is that John and Lorraine are trying to keep the truth about them not being actual charity workers from their parents and Mr. Pignati.  Since it is John and Lorraine against everyone else, I feel that this conflict is a Man(John and Lorraine) vs. Society.  The conflict that is through out the story, is Man(John and Lorraine) vs. Man.  I say this because both of the characters are trying to cope with the loss of the Pigman by writing a story about him.
   Each character has their own problems too.  I feel that John has another, Man vs. Man, conflict because he is dealing with his trouble, or addiction, to smoking and drinking.  Lorraine problem is also Man vs. Man because she has to deal with he personal self-esteem constintaly because of how her mom always makes fun of her.
