The author of "The Pigman" is Paul Zindel.He was born in Tottenville,Staten Island,NewYork. Some of the past books that he has written include "The Pigman's Legacy", "The Doom Stone", "My Darling My Hamburger", " The Gadget", and 49 other books.All together Zindel has written a total of 53 books in his lifetime.All but one of his books aimed for children and teens. Zindel took a creative writing course with the playright Edward Albee while he was an undergraduate. This was most likely one of the first starts in his career and his love of writing.
I believe that Zindel carried his passion for writing over to "The Pigman" because he has written multiple books based on it. This shows us how much he enjoyed writing the first pigman book.I believe that he wrote the book because of that. He probably had an idea in his mind of a story and carried it through into this book.The book was also originally made for stage and screen but it didn't work out. Since this didn't happen he turned it into a book.He may have also had some of these things happen to him in his past and decided to write some down.
I agree with all of your information. It tells a lot about Paul Zindel. I think you could have added about why Paul wrote the book The Pigman and the blog would have been even better.
