(Lauren E.) Impressions of the Main Character

Since I am reading the book "The Pigman" by Paul Zindel, the main characters in the book are John and Lorraine. I am going to talk about John because I think so far he has a bigger spot than Lorraine.  I personally think that John is not very smart. I think this because he has not made the best choices so far. For example, he was smoking in the bathroom at school, he let off bombs, and he was prank calling random people's numbers. This shows who he is by showing some of the actions he has done, and so far they are not very smart. This can show a lot about John. 

I personally have mixed feelings about John. I do because I think that he could either be a good person or a bad person. For example, smoking and letting off bombs are not good things, so he was bad for doing that. He probably shouldn't have prank called because I have a feeling that is going to let to something happening in the book later on. He could also be a good person because Lorraine said he was funny and would sometimes care about other people. I have a prediction that John will end up changing in the book at some point. I think this because since they called Pigman, he will change. This will hopefully change him into a better character.
