Opinions of John

John is a trouble maker, who is best friends with Lorraine. Some of his most famous pranks are when he sets off firecracker bombs in the bathroom by the Dean's office. John never gets caught because lots of people like him because he's "handsome", and he's also smart about how he pulls off his pranks. John also smokes and drinks because he thinks it's cool, which tells me that he's had a pretty messed up childhood and isn'

t very smart with his health. John befriended Lorraine, who isn't very pretty or well liked, which makes us believe that he has some good in him.

I like John because he's very different from most characters in books. John is a troublemaker, like said before, so he gets into more dangerous things, which makes for an interesting character/story. I also like John because I feel like he has a heart, just like how Lorraine explained that he became her friend even though she wasn't pretty and no one liked her. I don't like how he smokes and drinks since that's unhealthy and a bad example for people reading the book. Overall, John seems like a good person when it comes to the important things.
