Well, if I could talk to the main character, (I'm just gonna consider Lorraine the main character because I can.) I would probably hug her and cry for a couple of hours while mumbling continuously that everything is gonna be okay in the end.
I would do that because I feel bad that she's going through this stuff. It reminds me of a situation a friend of mine's going through, so it's pretty much full-force feels whenever I read about the stuff going on in her life. It's like.. ...Dang, gurl. Just... ...Dang ;-;. I wish John would help her out more instead of being a *not allowed to swear, whoopsies. Just pretend I said potato.*
I also feel bad that she is going through all of that stuff. She should have not been blamed for John's actions. Good job describing Lorraine!
